Language rights defender, linguist, nonprofit director.

around the world, people are being arrested, silenced, and displaced simply for speaking their own languages. language is more than communication—it's culture, identity, and justice. my work is dedicated to changing that, and my goal is to ensure language rights are treated as central to the human rights agenda—not an afterthought.

I’m always excited to speak at universities or events on topics like language revitalization, equitable nonprofit leadership, and the urgent need for inclusive tech and policy. I also love mentoring folks who want to launch or grow mission-driven initiatives, especially around community development, strategic planning, or management pipelines.

when I’m not busy at wikitongues, you’ll find me knitting, reading anything I can get my hands on, pretending I’m a banjoist, and playing far too much BG3 with my partner.
